A Proclamation and an Invitation to Fight Against Pornography

Whereas, pornography presents youth with a distorted, debased and often violent image of human sexuality; and

Whereas, even young children now molest other children in imitation of what they see in pornography; and

Whereas, addiction to pornography prevents, damages and destroys marriages; and

Whereas, for many individuals, both young and old, there is a progression from viewing adult pornography to viewing child pornography; and

Whereas, there is a growing number of children who are being sexually assaulted in public places such as bus stops and abducted from their homes [Girl, 5, sexually assaulted, strangled; Charges say family friend from Coon Rapids murdered her, hid body in swamp - St Paul Pioneer Press, August 24, 2016]; and

Whereas, laws against obscenity (hard-core pornography) have been ignored for decades by many whose duty and job description was to enforce them; [case in point: Obama DOJ] and 

Whereas, strip clubs are places of sexual abuse and violence, [Family of Woman Shot and Killed in Minneapolis Strip Club Files Lawsuit - 5 Eyewitness News ABC October 27, 2016]; and

Whereas, societal acceptance of viewing pornography has given the 'green light' to producers and distributors of pornography;
